You are being offered this opportunity to become a mountain bike instructor due to your voluntary contribution and involvement in the Alice Springs mountain bike community. You will learn skills that are helpful for your own riding development and skills to teach others how to improve their riding. The course is provided free of charge thanks to AusCycling and CARR. We hope that you continue to be involved and be part of growing mountain biking in Alice Springs through school programs, Dusty Demons, and/or CARR events including skills workshops. We are pleased to let you know that we can offer a Level 0 MTB Skills Instructor Course (AusCycling Foundation Instructor - MTB) in Alice Springs, NT on Saturday 7th August 2021. The course will start at 8.30am and run through until approx 5 pm to allow for enough time to cover the course content and the venue will be confirmed shortly.

The L0 MTB Skills Instructor Course is 1-day course, which is the entry point to the coaching pathway and is aimed at parents, clubs and teachers who want to learn the basics of group management, risk assessment and skills teaching techniques. Participants successfully completing the course will be equipped to lead beginner group rides and deliver basic skills instruction sessions.
