MTBA LEVEL 0 MTB SKILLS INSTRUCTOR COURSE

  • Alice Springs Australia (map)

The next Mountain Bike Level 0 Instructors Course happening in Alice Springs on the 8 August 2020.

This is a terrific opportunity to learn how to teach mountain bike skills for beginner trails and of course is great for your own bike skills. Opportunities to use these skills within the club include MTB skills sessions, Dusty Demons and school based programs like Ross Park Primary School.

This course is subsidised by NT Government funding and reduced from $240 to $100 per person.

Maximum numbers will be 8 so sign up ASAP. It will be first in best dressed so don't do the usual Alice thing and wait till the last minute.

Once participants have registered for the course, copies of the following documents will be required in order to finalise a coach accreditation and for them to meet MTBA's insurance requirements:

  • Current First Aid Certification (Senior First Aid or HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid

  • Valid Working With Children Check for the State/Territory in which you are coaching
    Please send these to education@mtba.org.au

Please Note: There are pre-course readings and worksheets that MUST be completed prior to the course. The completed worksheets need to be brought to the course for assessment on the day. Readings and worksheet are available for download from the MTBA website: https://www.mtba.org.au/development/coaching/
